This is a wonderful pair of complete wall lamps or sconces hand-made by artist Craig Carey. They are in excellent vintage condition and appear to be complete including the hand-painted shades. Sure to brighten up any space in which you decide to display them. Both lamps are signed in black marker "Carey" on the back wood surface. As with all vintage lighting, we recommend rewiring but all sockets have been tested and are in working condition.

"For the past 45 years this self-taught woodworker has created an expansive body of work with his own concepts, designs, and patterns. Each piece is individually handcrafted on a small scale, with certain pieces ranging in a quantity of only 3 or 4 a year. Working primarily with found wood, pond willow, and tin Craig then applies an extensive multi-layer process to achieve the deep, vibrate colors that are a signature of his work. Craig’s work has been seen in Neiman Marcus, Better Homes and Gardens, Country Home, and Metropolitan Home and can be found in private collections and galleries around the country."
